Project Overview
Canterbury Place is preparing for an upcoming fire alarm system upgrade project. Work is expected to begin in September 2026, with new fire alarm speakers installed throughout the building and inside individual units.
What to Expect IN Your Unit
New fire alarm speakers will be installed in each residential unit.

One-Bedroom Units: Two(2) speakers

Two-Bedroom Units: Three(3) speakers
Fire & Life Safety Requirements

Bedrooms: One Speaker will be installed in each bedroom to provide a minimum sound level of 75 decibels at the pillow, as required by code.

Living Areas: Speakers installed in the main living area will provide sound level at least 15 decibels above the ambient noise level.

Installation Method: Surface-mounted wire mold will ne used where unnecessary to provide a neat, clean, and professional installation while minimizing disruption to your home.
